Citroen Basalt: A Comprehensive Overview
The Basalt bears a strong resemblance to the Citroën C3 Aircross, featuring a similar V-shaped LED DRL design and split grille. It distinguishes itself with LED projector headlights, which will be introduced to the C3 Aircross in the near future. The front bumper is styled with a silver finish and sporty red highlights. The side profile showcases a coupe-like roofline and 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it is equipped with wraparound halogen tail lights and blacked-out bumpers.
The Basalt’s interior features many components found in the C3 Aircross, such as the identical dashboard layout, dual digital displays (including a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch driver’s display), and similarly styled air conditioning vents.
Additional amenities in the Basalt include automatic air conditioning, a wireless phone charger, and rear seats with adjustable under-thigh support (up to 87 mm). However, a sunroof is not included.
In terms of safety, the Basalt is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a rearview camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
